Kemira Sourcing drives the company's strategic spend management through the identification of suppliers, negotiation and contract management as well as the management of supplier relationships. We are now looking for a Manager, Sourcing Indirect, Americas to join our regional Sourcing Indirect Team.  The position is preferred to be located in our Atlanta, GA Galleria office with the flexibility to organize your work between office and home.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing innovative sourcing approaches that help minimize CapEx costs, as well as commercial and legal risks
  • Leading the supplier selection process including agreements commercial and legal negotiations
  • Developing and executing project sourcing and contracting strategies to support project and company's growth objectives
  • Providing expertise and knowledge within a category of spend and you are working cross-functionally and in a remote team
  • Guiding procurement staff of internal and external partners and motivating them to perform at their maximum
  • Developing, monitoring, and reporting key supplier performance metrics
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders and key supplier on new areas of value creation by driving improvement opportunities and innovation initiatives

What you will bring to the team:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other relevant degree
  • 5 + years experience in commercial roles, preferably with experience in Indirect Sourcing spend categories such as MRO, Site Services and CapEx
  • Results driven, analytical, self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to logically identify alternative solutions or approaches to complex challenges
  • Strong supplier and internal stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Ability to take responsibility for leading, directing and managing changes
  • Experience with negotiating complex legal and commercial agreements terms and conditions
  • Solid experience of leading the sourcing activities for green field / brown field investment projects with proven process development and project management exposure
  • Strong understanding of MS Office, SAP and eSourcing tools
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Readiness to travel due to regional responsibility and flexibility in working hours due to cross-regional interaction

The starting salary range for consideration for this position is $100,000 to $125,000 per year with opportunities for performance-based bonuses. The actual starting salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant employment history & experience, skill set/competencies, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs.  We also offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance, paid time off, life/disability insurance and a 401k retirement plan (which includes a company match).
