Description:

The Senior Accountant is a key contributor within a fast-growing, multi-entity organization operating in a highly regulated industry. This role supports the Controller and finance leadership through disciplined close execution, complex reconciliations, audit support, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a high-accountability environment with evolving processes. This position requires the ability and willingness to meet the demands of a growing organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual close
  • Own assigned balance sheet accounts, including complex reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Manage intercompany transactions and multi-entity accounting activities
  • Reconcile debt, interest, fixed assets, accruals, reserves, and equity accounts
  • Investigate and resolve reconciling items and unusual activity
  • Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requests
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate data flows into the general ledger
  • Support accounting system enhancements and process improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to documentation, controls, and scalable accounting procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or CPA-eligible required
  • 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Public accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in multi-entity and intercompany environments
  • Experience preparing and supporting audits
  • Background in financial services, banking, or similarly regulated industries (IRS, SEC, etc.) required
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, data analysis)
  • NetSuite experience preferred or similar ERP systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong integrity, attention to detail, and communication skills
