Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our OB/GYN clinic in Texarkana, TX. This is a clinic-only position focused on providing comprehensive women?s health services in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have prior women?s health experience, though relevant RN experience in women?s health will also be considered. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient women?s health care including well-woman exams, prenatal and postpartum visits, and gynecologic follow-ups
  • Perform patient assessments, routine screenings, and preventive care
  • Assist in managing prenatal patients in collaboration with the OB/GYN physician
  • Provide patient education on contraception, pregnancy, menopause, and overall wellness
  • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
  • Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
  • Previous women?s health or OB/GYN experience required
  • RN experience in women?s health will be considered
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to work independently in an outpatient clinic setting
Schedule & Compensation
  • Monday?Friday, 8:00 AM ? 5:00 PM
  • Fridays are half days
  • Clinic only ? no call, no weekends, no inpatient duties
