Job Title: Summer Intern (Civil/ Traffic/ Transportation Engineering)
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Contract Role: 2 Months

Summary:
A strong candidate would be a Junior/Senior Civil Engineering student/Intern (Transportation concentration) with experience in traffic operations, travel time studies, CCTV monitoring, traffic data collection, Excel-based analysis, ITS technologies (side-fire radar) and transportation performance analysis.
Responsibilities
- Valid driver’s license
- Safe driving record
- Access to a car
- Proficient in English
- Experience collecting travel times
- Currently enrolled in one of the Utah partnering Universities
- Experience coding in excel and google sheets
- Experience with remote connection to CCTVs
- Experience with recording CCTVs
- Experience navigating ARCH
- Experience pulling data from side-fire radar
- Experience with traffic data pattern analysis
- Experience with probe data route analysis
- Civil Engineering major with knowledge of geometric highway design and traffic signage, sight distance
