Job description

Job Description:

PURPOSE

  • As an intern at National Church Residences, you provide professional services, as appropriate to the day-to-day operating objectives of the unit while meeting the goals of the educational internship program.
  • This Part Time role will work in our Dublin, Ohio corporate office during standard business hours.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:

The typical responsibilities for you in this position include assisting the immediate supervisor, other origination team members and/or the department with the following:

  • Review tax credit and bond application submittals and lender applications to develop affordable housing communities.
  • Assist with financial models for the development including, without limitation 4% and 9% tax credit models.
  • Review and prepare funding applications to develop affordable housing communities.
  • Promote and participate as an active and supportive member of the acquisition and development team.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Demonstrates and maintains a positive, professional manner, manages time efficiently and effectively, provides leadership as a role model to promote a team approach, collaborates and participates in policy creation and appropriate problem-solving methods.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate program, working towards a degree.

Experience: Entry level - no experience required

Skills:

  • Must have working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and World Wide Web.
  • Must have good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
