Job Purpose:
- The MA Therapist - Reg Intern at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing therapeutic services to clients under the supervision of a licensed therapist. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy sessions to support the mental health and well-being of clients. The position is designed for a registered intern who is gaining practical experience in a clinical setting as part of their path towards full licensure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and supervisors.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care for clients.
- Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
