Job Title: Network Operations Center (NOC) Trainer Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * The Opportunity : We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Network Operations Center (NOC) Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for NOC staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot our network infrastructure. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain training materials and lesson plans, including presentations, hands-on exercises, and documentation for NOC procedures and best practices.
* Conduct classroom and on-the-job training sessions for new and existing NOC staff.
* Assess training needs and design curriculum to address skill gaps.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest processes, network technologies, tools, and industry trends to ensure training content remains relevant.
* Collaborate with NOC managers and team leads to identify areas for improvement in staff performance.
* Create and administer tests to evaluate trainees' comprehension and skill levels.
* Provide ongoing mentorship and support to NOC staff.
* Develop and implement strategies to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
* Assist in the creation and maintenance of NOC standard operating procedures (SOPs). Qualifications: Required: * Bachelors' degree or equivalent work experience
* 5+ years' of related work experience
* Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs.
* Strong knowledge of network protocols, infrastructure, and troubleshooting techniques.
* Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
* Experience with remote training tools and virtual classrooms.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
