Job description

Job Description Senior Power Platform Developer Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid) Duration: 3 Month Contract Seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise automation, application, and reporting solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform technologies. This role will lead the development of scalable solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and integrations with SAP and other enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven applications).

Build and maintain Power Automate cloud flows, RPA solutions, and approval workflows. Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and analytics solutions. Design and manage Dataverse data models, relationships, and integrations.

Integrate Power Platform solutions with SAP, SharePoint, SQL Server, APIs, and other enterprise applications. Lead end-to-end solution architecture, technical design, and deployment activities. Support application lifecycle management (ALM), source control, release management, and environment strategy.

Ensure adherence to security, governance, compliance, and data privacy standards. Troubleshoot, optimize, and support production solutions. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform.

Strong experience with: Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven) Power Automate (Cloud Flows & Desktop Flows) Power BI Dataverse DAX and Power Query (M Language) Experience integrating with SAP, SharePoint, SQL, REST APIs, and enterprise applications. Knowledge of data modeling, reporting, automation, and solution architecture. Experience with DevOps, ALM, and environment management.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Power Platform certifications. Experience in a large enterprise or utility environment.

Experience with Databricks, Azure services, AI Builder, or Document Intelligence. Knowledge of security governance, DLP policies, and scalable solution design.
