Overview
Responsible for coordinating Imaging Department information systems, compilation of data and maintaining a system for effective data flow. Provides technical and user support for implementation and maintenance of clinical systems used throughout Imaging Services. Oversees IS needs of department and acts as a liaison with IS department. Assists management in planning and budgeting for operational system related capital. Abstracts, organizes and inputs data into appropriate databases. Development and report generation and information dissemination to Imaging Services Management.

Qualifications
Education
  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
  • Associate's Degree Preferred
Work Experience
  • Previous experience medical imaging department Required
  • Experience in imaging software report writing Preferred
  • Extensive training with medical IS applications Preferred
