As a Software Test Automation Intern, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to design, build, and test Java-based applications. Program Details

  • Duration: 10-12 weeks (Summer Internship)

  • Pay: $21.00 - $27.00/hour (based on location, major, and year in school)

  • Location: Morrisville, NC - Hybrid

What You'll Do

  • Support the design, development, and testing of software applications

  • Contribute to automated testing frameworks and quality assurance efforts

  • Build tools and analytics solutions to support engineering teams

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile (Scrum) environment

  • Take ownership of your work and contribute ideas to improve products

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

  • Familiarity with Java and object-oriented programming

  • Exposure to data structures and algorithms

  • Basic experience with scripting (Python, Tcl, or similar)

  • Experience working with source control and unit testing tools

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

  • Interest in building reliable, high-quality software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with test automation or QA processes

  • Exposure to distributed systems or cloud-based platforms

  • Familiarity with tools like IntelliJ, Jira, Confluence, or Agile/Scrum
