Media Design Intern - Video and Multimedia
Whiting-Turner is a national leader in construction. We are seeking an aspiring, electronic media and/or film graduate in the third or fourth year of their college program. This individual will join a talented group of media design and marketing professionals in support of the firm's business development efforts. The ideal candidate possesses course knowledge and experience in both filming and editing digital media.
This position encompasses several, varied activities, including supporting our media designers and marketers in:
  • Promoting and maintaining our brand identity
  • Project pursuit and active project support efforts
  • Coordinating pre-production tasks with the project team
  • Filming videos on set or on location
  • Editing and finalizing collected footage
  • Enhancing video content with motion graphics, music, SFX, etc.
  • Collecting, editing, organizing and maintaining our asset libraries
  • Project documentation
  • Internal projects and support

The successful candidate must be in the process of achieving a bachelor's degree in electronic media and/or film (or a related field) and be proficient with:
  • Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop (Adobe Creative Suite proficiency preferred)
  • Filming equipment (DSLRs, Stabilization, Audio and Lighting).
  • Microsoft Office 365
