ABOUT WATSON ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION
Watson Electrical Construction is a leading provider of electrical contracting services, specializing in delivering high-quality solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Our company prides itself on its commitment to safety, innovation, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to join our growing team in Raleigh, North Carolina.

SUMMARY: We're seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the management, performance, and successful completion of exciting commercial construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)
  • Oversee the management, performance, and successful completion of assigned projects, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Monitor and control all project documentation, schedules, estimates, and job processing responsibilities
  • Manage financial performance of projects, including profit/loss, pay requests, and job productivity reporting
  • Direct and review project estimating, bidding, design/build, and change order processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Oversee material procurement, approvals, submittals, and subcontractor coordination to support project schedules
  • Identify and resolve project-related technical, engineering, and field challenges in collaboration with owners and stakeholders
  • Lead and supervise project teams, including scheduling, training, labor management, and jobsite safety
  • Ensure efficient and economical execution of work, including monitoring fleet usage and resource allocation
  • Prepare and present job status updates, post-job reports, and other project documentation to management

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses & Certifications
    • Must possess a current state driver's license
    • Applicable federal, state, and local certifications as required by job conditions or by the company
  • Education
    • High School Graduate, GED, or equivalent Watson training
    • Electrical license preferred, but not required
  • Other Requirements
    • Ability to worknight shifts, and out-of-town jobs if needed
    • Sitting and standing for extended periods, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending and lifting (up to 40lbs.)
    • Ability to visit and walk throughout jobsites
