Job description

IES Commercial, Inc. - dba IES Electrical, is seeking an Electrical Project Manager in the Norfolk, Nebraska area.ย ย Partial remote/hybrid.ย  Candidates living in Lincoln, Omaha, Sioux City, Sioux Falls areas encouraged to apply.

Job Summary

  • Supervision of total construction effort to ensure project(s) constructed per design, budget and on-scheduleย 
  • Plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions including scheduling, material control, and support staff
  • Provide direction to craft workers and/or contractor/sub-contractor workers as required
  • Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc.
  • Complete documentation for extra work and ensure issuance of change orders
  • Manage productivity of craft workers and efficient use of materials & equipment, and overall contractual performance of the project.

Qualifications

  • Valid State of Nebraska Electrical Journeyman License
  • 5 years project management experience in industrial/commercial electrical construction
  • Experience supervising craft workers
  • Knowledge of electrical construction methods including related technologies and equipment, contracts, NEC requirements, and related material planning, scheduling, and safety requirements
  • Proficient computer skills, experience utilizing MS Office (EXCEL/WORD)
  • Valid motor vehicle operator's license
  • Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test, background check and MVR check.ย
