Rack & Riddle Custom Wine Services, the #1 custom sparkling wine producer in the United States, is seeking for a Harvest Data Entry Intern to join our team.
The Harvest Data Entry intern will support our winemaking and cellar teams by ensuring accurate and timely data entry in the Winemaking database. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. While knowledge of winemaking processes is preferred, strong data entry and computer skills are essential. We are looking for interns with the long-term goal of wine industry involvement. The company is seeking to hire harvest interns to start in July, working through end of harvest. Bonus available for completing the Harvest with us!
Essential Responsibilities
  • Data entry into Winemaking database including but not limited to:

  • Grape maturity analysis

  • Weigh tags

  • Harvest work orders

  • Cellar work orders

  • Chemical and wine additive receipt and inventory

  • Record filing

  • Scanning of BOL and weigh tags

  • Maintaining certificates of analysis for additives

  • Expand the additive receiving entry to include tagging and physical inventory management

  • Client/ Vendor Interaction

  • Emailing intake/ dispatch documents

  • Emailing weigh tags

  • Additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements
A successful candidate's background includes:
  • Strong computer skills: Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel

  • High School Diploma or GED - Some college experience preferred

  • Vintrace experience preferred.

  • Moderate to strong math skills.

  • Ability to follow and execute verbal and written Instructions

  • Basic knowledge of wine production

  • Meticulous, organized and detail oriented

Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds over short distances.
