We specialize in designing, manufacturing, automating and testing power distribution equipment for OEM, mission critical, oil and gas and mining industries. Reporting directly to the Janitorial Manager, we are currently seeking a Janitor for our Evening Shift to be based at our Price, UT facility.

Job Title: Janitor

Position Summary: Responsible for cleaning buildings and keeping office areas clean by performing the following duties.

Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs 5pm-9pm; Fri 4pm-8pm; Open to change.

Essential Functions - Other Duties May Be Assigned.

  • Clean buildings by emptying trash, cleaning surfaces, sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
  • Clean and disinfect office equipment
  • Sanitize high touch surfaces
  • Steam-clean carpets as needed
  • Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
  • Mix various cleaning agents
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
  • Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean
  • Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants
  • Move heavy equipment and furniture
  • Identify and report possible repairs
  • Stock all toilet paper and paper towel dispensers
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, understand potential chemical hazards
  • โ€ข Identify and report possible repairs

Other Duties

  • Maintains regular and consistent job attendance. Comes to work on time.
  • Follows IEโ€™s safety standards and programs including Cardinal Safety Rules.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven working experience as a Janitor
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
  • Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally
  • Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
  • Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
  • Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism
  • Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Work Schedule: Must be able to work a 40-hour work week and additional time as required.
