About the Role

Ryan Transportation and Shamrock Trading Corporation are looking for a Carrier Sales Representative with drayage experience to help grow and support our intermodal and port-related freight operations. This role focuses on prospecting, qualifying, and securing drayage carriers to support customer shipments across U.S. and Canadian ports and intermodal rail yards. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a dynamic, ambitious and outgoing personality.

What You’ll Do
  • Solicit and qualify new carriers to expand Ryan Transportation’s drayage network
  • Negotiate transactional drayage rates to support customer freight opportunities
  • Secure carrier capacity for live and drop container moves
  • Coordinate logistics activity, including scheduling arrival dates and delivery appointments
  • Track and trace shipments to ensure timely execution and high service levels
  • Maintain accurate carrier records, compliance documentation, and system updates
  • Actively participate in transportation bids for current and prospective clients
  • Other duties as assigned
