Shipco Airfreight was established as a Neutral Airfreight Wholesaler in 1994. All our customers are freight forwarders or logistics providers. We have 39 airfreight offices in North America and Asia, and continue to expand our footprint.
Shipco Transport Inc. a leading international cargo transportation company, has an immediate opening at our MIA airfreight office located in Medley, FL for an experienced Airfreight Export Agent.
We are looking for a candidate who is dynamic, highly motivated, reliable, and who understands and appreciates the importance of a team effort.
Key Responsibilities
  • Performing Export transactions from start to finish, including quoting, arranging pick-ups, booking with Airlines, setting up Pre-Bookings and Consolidations, track, trace and invoice.
  • Ensuring that all Export compliance and TSA regulations are met on each shipment.
  • Overseeing export operations, including monitoring inbound shipments, coordinating customs clearance, tracking, and ensuring timely final delivery.
  • Communicating with agents, carriers, and customers to maintain efficient and compliant export processes.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Minimum 1-2 years of operations and customer service experience in airfreight cargo consolidations is required.
  • Prefer experience from an airfreight consolidator or neutral wholesale background, but a candidate with NVOCC, VOCC, or freight forwarder experience may also apply.
  • Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of daily airfreight operations, customer service, documentation, and government and carrier regulations.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced, multi-tasking, customer service-minded environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication as well as organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks, must be organized.
  • Must be detail-oriented, thorough, accurate, and have the ability to solve problems efficiently.
