We are looking for a Supply Chain Customer Service Representative to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Research Triangle Park, NC.

As the Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for the entire order fulfillment process of an assigned client base. The successful candidate will understand and follow defined processes and procedures and serve as the BASF primary point of contact for internal and external customers. The order fulfillment process includes; order entry and resolution of conflicting issues, shipping and invoicing. You will proactively take necessary action to remove obstacles between customer's requirements and BASF's ability to satisfy them while making decisions within established guidelines.

As a Supply Chain Customer Service Representative - RTP, NC (Hybrid), you create chemistry by...

  • Managing order to cash process activities such as expediting, basic returns, back-order monitoring, sample and zero-dollar orders, consignment order process, and removing obstacles that may impact customer requirements and BASF's ability to satisfy them.

  • Suppling chain initiatives of Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), including managing slow moving or aged inventory reduction via direct interaction with sales/product management and customers.

  • Understanding and enforcing stated business rules and raise awareness to situations where a resolution requires cross functional coordination.

  • Completing material availability inquiring and pricing discrepancy reporting.

If you...

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree (preferred) with 2 years of progressive experience in a related field.

  • Possess the ability to use SAP order to cash modules, including invoicing, and solve problems independently with minimal guidance or supervision.

  • Have a strong understanding of the Order to Cash, Invoicing, and Reconciliation processes.

  • Demonstrate computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel/Word) and web-based applications, with an intermediate level of competence in Excel.

  • Have experience interacting with customers.

  • Exhibit strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
