The Sales Representative (SR) is responsible for driving divisional growth by identifying and engaging prospective healthcare facilities to develop new business opportunities. This role focuses on lead generation by contacting and qualifying potential clients, gathering key decision-maker information, and setting meetings for Associate Account Executives (AAEs) and Account Executives (AEs). The Sales Representative works independently to source leads, uncover client staffing needs, and introduce our services, playing a key role in expanding market share across various healthcare organizations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

Sales Lead Generation - 100%

  • Generate sales leads by proactively reaching out to potential healthcare facilities through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, and other communication channels.
  • The main priority will be to prospect on facilities that we have not worked with before for a particular medical specialty to sell our locum tenens staffing solutions.
  • Identify and qualify decision-makers, including medical directors, department heads, and physician recruiters to assess staffing needs and business potential at an intermediate level.
  • Conduct research using job boards, LinkedIn, and other external resources to identify new business opportunities at an intermediate level.
  • Educate prospective clients on our staffing solutions and value proposition at an intermediate level.
  • Intermediate level ability to maintain and update accurate facility and contact information in the company CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Set qualified meetings for Associate Account Executives and Account Executives to further develop business opportunities.
  • Uncover staffing levels of physicians and advanced practitioners and locum tenens usage at each facility you call into.
  • Achieve and exceed outreach and conversion activity goals set by the manager.
  • Work within a structured schedule to ensure effective and consistent client engagement.
  • Partner with production teams to drive revenue growth by ensuring a strong sales pipeline.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE)

  • Collaborate with internal marketing and operations teams to support targeted outreach efforts.
  • Assist AEs and AAEs by researching market trends and client preferences.
  • Contribute to special projects, sales initiatives, and process improvements as assigned

SUPERVISORY/BUDGETARY/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY

  • Communicates directly with external clients to introduce staffing solutions.
  • Works collaboratively with internal sales and production teams

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • External candidates: 1 year of previous experience of inside sales or recruiting experience preferred
