Job Title: Application Developer III
Location: Jackson, MS ( Onsite)
Duration: 12 months
Position type: Contract

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer III with strong expertise in cloud technologies, enterprise application development, and DevOps practices.
This role requires a Subject Matter Expert (SME) capable of designing, developing, and supporting complex applications while working in a fully onsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-level applications.

  • Lead development efforts using Microsoft Azure cloud services.

  • Build and maintain scalable APIs, backend services, and data-driven applications.

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, business analysts, and infrastructure teams.

  • Perform code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Support database design, data migration, and system integrations.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.

  • Participate in full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities.

Required Technical Skills

Operating Systems & Cloud

  • Microsoft Azure – SME level (7+ years)

  • Microsoft Windows Server – Intermediate (3–5 years)

  • z/OS – Intermediate (Preferred)

Programming & Development

  • C# (.NET / .NET Core) – SME level

  • JavaScript, JSON, YAML – SME level

  • Strong experience in modern application architecture and API development

Database & Data Management

  • SQL / SQL Server – SME level

  • Advanced experience in:

    • Data Modeling

    • Schema Design

    • Data Migration

    • API Integration

  • ADABAS Database – Intermediate (Preferred)

Infrastructure & Hardware

  • Experience working in:

    Enterprise Server Environments (Intermediate)

DevOps & Methodologies

  • CI/CD Practices – SME level
