Job Description
  • Install, modify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and load new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, and associated fixtures, controls, and equipment
  • Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment
  • Responsibe for training new and existing team members.

Qualifications
  • Thorough knowledge of the construction, installation, operation, and troubleshooting of sophisticated circuitry and controls associated with unique projects
  • Examples include ability to formulate the layout sketch of required electrical circuits, wire new test setups, install strain gauge circuits and recording instruments as needed by the test program to measure performance of test articles, check the installed system to insure that specified electrical test conditions are attained, and may troubleshoot the electrical portions of the test equipment during test programs to determine cause of malfunction
  • Critical limits are controlled by intricate interlock of safety systems of novel design and great complexity
  • Knowledge and ability to anticipate and respond quickly to danger signs as they become evident through intricate warning systems to avoid loss of time and expensive equipment
  • Must have skill in the use of hand tools, power tools and test equipment needed to perform job effectively
  • Knowledge of electronics to electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors
  • Responsible for training and supporting new and existing team members.

Additional Information
**CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT**
The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $28.00 - $42.00 / hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay. RRD's benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
