Job description

Beautiful Interlachen Country Club located in Winter Park, FL has openings for full-time experienced line cooks in our Pool Kitchen & Bar and other outlets throughout the club. Renovated in 2015, this indoor/outdoor casual dining facility provides a fun and casual atmosphere for members, families, and guests alike.
SUMMARY: As a member of the Pool Kitchen Culinary Team, you will set up and maintain your work station for lunch and/or dinner service. Line Cooks will work as a team with each other as well as with servers and supervisors to ensure all orders are accurate and prepared in a timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Preps and stocks all items needed to assemble regular menu selections in addition to the weekly Pool Kitchen specials.
  • Uses standardized recipes and presentation photos as guidelines to prepare Pool Kitchen menu items and specials.
  • Cross-train on all Pool Kitchen stations: Pantry, Grill, Flat, Pizza, and Prep.
  • Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can always be organized and easily accessible.
  • Maintains cleanliness of coolers, countertops, fryer, grill, and char-broiler on a daily basis. Perform utility duties when a utility staff member is not scheduled.
  • Conducts self in a proper manner due to open nature of the kitchen.

COMPENSATION: Competitive based on experience.

AVAILABILITY: Must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires occasional bending, lifting, stretching.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
