Horticultural Technician ( Full | Part Time )


True Vines is seeking a detail-oriented, plant-passionate Horticultural Technician to help uphold and elevate the standards that define our interiorscape and design work.


This role blends hands-on plant maintenance with quality control, troubleshooting, and team support. You’ll play a key role in ensuring every installation and service visit reflects the high-end, polished experience that clients expect.

Compensation:

$16 - $20 hourly


Responsibilities:

Plant Care & Maintenance (Core Execution)

  • Perform routine horticultural service across client properties:
  • Watering, pruning, cleaning, fertilizing
  • Monitoring plant health, soil conditions, and lighting environments
  • Ensure all plant material meets True Vines standards for health, fullness, and presentation
  • Proactively replace, rotate, and refresh plant material as needed


Quality Control & Troubleshooting

  • Identify and resolve plant health issues (watering, pests, nutrition, lighting)
  • Monitor incoming plant material and inventory to ensure quality standards are met


Client Experience

  • Represent True Vines with a polished, professional presence onsite
  • Communicate with clients and property teams in a respectful, proactive manner
  • Identify opportunities for enhancements or upgrades and relay to leadership

Qualifications:

Required

  • 1+ years of experience in horticulture, landscaping, interiorscaping, or plant care
  • Basic knowledge of plant health, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently and manage a service route
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to lift 25–35 lbs and work in indoor commercial environments
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record


Preferred

  • Experience with interior plant maintenance or commercial accounts
  • Knowledge of tropical plants and living wall systems
  • Customer-facing or service-based experience
  • Horticulture certification or formal training (a plus)
