Strong research skills and knowledge of plant science are essential for accuracy and credibility in this role.

What are the main types of content a Horticultural Writer typically produces?

Horticultural Writers commonly create a variety of content including how-to articles, plant care guides, feature stories, newsletters, and blog posts for gardening websites, magazines, or professional associations. They may also contribute to technical reports, educational materials, or marketing copy for horticultural businesses and product manufacturers. Depending on the employer, you could collaborate closely with horticulturists, photographers, editors, and marketing teams to ensure accuracy and appeal of the published content.
