What is interior textile design?

Interior textile design is a specialized field focused on creating and selecting fabrics and materials used in interior spaces, such as homes, offices, hotels, and public buildings. It involves designing patterns, textures, and colors for items like upholstery, curtains, rugs, and cushions to enhance both aesthetics and functionality. Interior textile designers consider durability, comfort, and style trends while collaborating with interior designers and manufacturers. Their work plays a crucial role in defining the atmosphere and visual appeal of a space.

Additionally, staying updated on trends and sustainable materials is essential, as clients increasingly seek innovative and eco-friendly solutions.
