About the Role:

A global architecture and design practice is seeking a Senior Interior Designer / Project Designer to join their San Francisco studio.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within an integrated and interdisciplinary team delivering thoughtful, sustainable and design-driven workplace and commercial interior projects across a diverse portfolio. The studio is recognized for its collaborative approach, technical excellence and commitment to creating environments that positively impact people and communities.

The role will suit a well-rounded designer with strong conceptual and technical abilities who enjoys working across all phases of a project, from early design through to delivery. You'll collaborate closely with architects, strategists, consultants and clients on complex projects for leading organizations across technology, commercial and innovation-focused sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the planning, design and delivery of workplace and commercial interior projects across multiple phases
  • Support project teams with concept development, space planning, detailing, documentation and coordination
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary internal teams and external consultants
  • Participate in client presentations, workshops and design discussions
  • Assist with FF&E selections, material research and production of project deliverables
  • Support the delivery of high-quality, thoughtful and sustainable design solutions

Key Skills / Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of professional experience within interior design or architecture
  • Strong workplace, commercial interiors, mixed-use or large-scale project experience
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential
  • Strong design sensibility combined with solid technical and documentation skills
  • Experience working within collaborative, multidisciplinary project environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a proactive and team-oriented approach
