About the Company

Founded in 2000, we have grown into upstate New York's finest resource for luxury, custom window treatments. Our fabrication, design and installation teams bring visions to life in real time, providing draperies, valances, shades, shutters, high-tech motorization, hardware, custom soft goods, and more.

About the Role

We are hiring a skilled Window Treatment Installer to measure and install blinds, shades, shutters, and draperies. This is a hands-on, in-the-field role ideal for a carpenter, finish carpenter, trim carpenter, closet installer, or experienced tradesperson who takes pride in precise measurements and clean, professional installations. 

 Location: Fairport, NY 14450 | Full-Time 

Compensation and Benefits

  • $22 to $30 per hour, based on experience (flexible for veteran installers or window treatment experience)
  • 12 paid holidays

What You Will Do

  • Pick up the company van each morning, load the day's jobs, complete your appointments, and return at the end of the day
  • Measure client windows and openings for accurate, custom-fit treatments
  • Install a full range of interior window treatments including hard and soft treatments
  • Double-check and order hard treatments 
  • Take high-quality "after" photos that showcase the finished work
  • Manage your own scheduling and daily route planning
  • Support occasional specialty projects 

What We Are Looking For

  • Carpentry, finish carpentry, or a similar trade background
  • Highly skilled and comfortable working with hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Reliable, self-directed, and able to manage a daily schedule independently
  • Comfortable using an iPad for job details, photos, and documentation

Physical Requirements

  • Comfortable working on ladders and at 6-12ft heights
  • Able to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment up to 60+ lbs
  • Physically active role performed primarily in the field
  • Willingness to assist with light procurement and routine inventory organization
  • Oversight of company vehicle maintenance (oil changes, gas, cleanliness)
