Requirements

An architecture or interior design associate supports the successful completion of projects and tasks by providing research, conceptual ideas, design drawings, as well as contributing to design documentation for any or all phases of design. Responsibilities may include working on new business tasks or duties. An associate position is an entry-level, unlicensed position that allows a person to develop a strong foundation to build their career. Over time, associates work autonomously and develop intermediate design skills. 

What you will do: 

  • Supports project team, project manager and team leadership 
  • Participates with company leadership in the development of project objectives and design 
  • Participates in conceptual designs and project presentations 
  • Serves as team member in the development of construction documents 
  • Participates in the construction administration providing support to the overall project team 
  • Collaborate with interior designers, architectural staff, and project consultants through all design phases 

The ideal candidate must possess the following skills: 

  • Holds experience in the utilization of REVIT as the primary tool in design and document development 
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suites (mainly InDesign and Photoshop) 
  • Ability to think critically and creatively while working in a team-based atmosphere
