Job description

At Laura Yeager Smith Home & Design, we craft authentic, luxurious and deeply livable interiors through a proven full-interior design process. As an award-winning studio, we uphold a standard of excellence grounded in collaboration, intention, and precision. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a highly capable Associate Designer | Project Manager to join our in-person team in Hudson, Ohio. This is a hands-on position ideal for a serious design professional who thrives in a polished, fast-paced environment and takes pride in bringing finely executed interiors to life. ​​​​​​
Responsibilities:

  • Support and collaborate with the Principal and Design Director on all phases of residential projects
  • Commincate clearly and succinctly with clients, vendors, and the internal design team
  • Manage and track multiple project timelines, deliverables, and budgets simultaneously
  • Accurately document and specify furnishings, finishes, and materials with established standards
  • Maintain detailed documentation, drawing sets, and presentation files
  • Ensure quality control through consistent follow-up and follow-through
  • Anticipate next steps and proactively problem-solve to uphold project excellence
  • Represent the firm's values and professionalism in every interaction

Experience & Education

  • Minimum 2 years of releveant project management experience in interior design, construction or architecture
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture

Qualifications:

  • Proficency in AutoCad, MS Office Suite, and Google Workspace
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
