Are you ready to contribute to a team, committed to excellent customer service and dedicated to each individual's unique talent?
As an Infection Preventionist (IP LPN LVN) , you will develop, direct, and monitor the facility's infection prevention and control program and ensure that the facility is in compliance. You will make rounds of nursing units and review environmental sanitation procedures and analyze infectious disease lab reports and consult with the Director of Nursing. You will prepare summaries of all resident/staff infections, corrective actions taken, and results for submission. You'll meet with staff, residents and family members to explain precautions and ensure appropriate hand-hygiene techniques are followed.
Must have:
  • Unencumbered LVN/LPN license in the state
  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care

Nice to have:
  • Infection control experience
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
  • Experience with PointClickCare
