Job description

Overview

Job Purpose

We are looking for a highly driven Senior Analyst to join the Exchange Product team of the New York Stock Exchange (an Intercontinental Exchange company) to assist and lead our various trading technology initiatives. This role will have an opportunity to develop a well-rounded understanding of how markets operate - working on projects across trading, reference data, and listings, and owning requirements across complex and cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate excels at synthesizing information from multiple sources, bridging business and technology teams throughout the SDLC, and translating intricate requirements into clear, actionable documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Own data and functional requirements and delivery end-to-end, from inception to completion, operating across levels of abstraction - from granular detail to strategic insight - while identifying the true need behind every request.
  • Work as a liaison between Business, Regulatory, Technology, Operations, and other teams as part of the SDLC process.
  • Assess and validate test case coverage against requirements, identify gaps and ensure comprehensive testing across all functional and non-functional criteria.
  • Design wireframes/mock-ups of functional requirements as needed.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required (Business, Finance, Management of Information Systems, Computer Science, or related).
  • 3+ years of product management experience in Financial Services. Exposure to Equites/Options trading and/or exchange ecosystems is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - able to translate complex requirements into clear, structured documentation and engage credibly with stakeholders across regulatory, business, and technology domains.
  • Deep analytical mindset, problem solving skills and can-do attitude. Ability to plan, estimate and deliver timeframes in conjunction with Tech leads and Project Management.
  • Strong grasp of data requirements, flow, and consumption - from how data is defined and sourced to how it moves through systems and lands in the hands of end users.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience working in regulated environments alongside Legal/Compliance and Regulatory partners.
  • Knowledge of digital assets, cryptocurrencies, tokenization, and/or AI.
  • Proficiency in data processing, analysis, and visualization tools, with hands-on experience across Business Intelligence (i.e. Tableau) and Cloud Data Warehouse (i.e. Snowflake) applications.
  • Programming language (SQL, Python, R).
  • Knowledge in FIX/binary protocols, API, multicast, and other integration protocols.
  • Familiarity with productivity and project management tools such as Jira, Monday.com, or similar platforms is a plus.

New York Base Salary Range

The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $100,000 - $155,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
