Job description

Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Audio Prep Technician (Engineer). This person is responsible for the quality control (QC), testing, and packaging of audio and intercom equipment in the NEP inventory. This is a full-time position onsite at our Van Nuys facility. This is Monday - Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm with some overtime and weekends as needed. Wage is $28 - $34 per hour based on experience.
3 - 5 years of experience in the industry. Audio/ RF Audio and Intercom Experience.
Key Duties:
  • Testing and configuration of audio and intercom hardware
  • Design and build packages based on client requirements.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external clients remotely and on site
  • Perform repairs and upgrades as needed on various gear
  • Working both independently and as part of a team

Requirements:
  • Ability to install and troubleshoot audio and intercom devices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to solve unusual or unexpected problems
  • Effective communication skills are a must
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Broadcast, Sprots, and Entertainment Industry.
  • Audio/ RF Audio and Intercom Experience
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service externally and internally
