Relatable with Allie Beth Stuckey is seeking a highly creative, focused, and detail oriented self-starter who brings compelling storytelling to every episode - from concept to execution. The ideal candidate has an eye and ear for strong audio/visual presentation, enjoys collaboration, and must have excellent communication skills as they will be expected to pitch new ideas for content, segments, guests, and more. Therefore, they must understand the current political, cultural, and theological environments and be able to translate those topics into informative and entertaining segments for Relatable. The producer will report to the Executive Producer and is expected to deliver accurate information on tight deadlines and be passionate about producing a great show.
Job Responsibilities
  • Research & Pitch monologue topics & angles
  • Write monologues with video & graphic elements
  • Pitch, research, and book guests including coordinating travel & studio logistics
  • Line producing & element requests
  • Manage Production Schedule and Calendar
  • Provide live notes for the edit during tapings
  • Pitch and submit titles & thumbnails
  • Conduct quality checks on content
  • Pitch short form and medium form clips for social channels
  • Other miscellaneous duties to ensure the above are satisfactorily completed

Required Experience & Skills
  • 3-5 years of related production experience on a podcast or news show
  • Proven track record of strong editorial judgement in current cultural, faith, political and news media landscapes
  • High familiarity with Relatable, Allie Beth Stuckey, and corresponding social pages and audience to assess the best timing and topics to post.
