Job description

We are hiring Contract Locum experienced cardiothoracic critical care intensivist nurse practitioner or physician assistant for a prestigious hospital in Houston, TX!

Ongoing Full Time Or Part Time locum contract with options to extend!


High Acuity of Care, Level One Trauma, Lot's of PROCEDURES!

The Cardiovascular critical care team is a continuous, on-site service with expected work schedule of 3-4 nights shifts per week or open to 6 on /8 off and blocks of 7 on / 7 off!!


Our APPs are involved in all aspects of patient management with a significant degree of autonomy in the CVICU program including:

- Management of approximately 800+ cardiac cases per year including CABGs, Valves (surgical and TAVR), and thoracic vascular surgery (surgical and TEVAR).

- Management of cardiogenic shock with and without mechanical support.

- Performs high-quality clinical practices and effective patient management, under the supervision of the cardiac intensivist, in accordance with state regulations.


Must Have Texas License

Length: 6 months +
