Job description

Carondelet Health Network is seeking a full-time Intensivist to join their team in Tucson, AZ. This employed position offers the opportunity to practice Critical Care Medicine across two nationally recognized hospitals, St. Joseph's and St. Mary's, both known for excellence in stroke, cardiac, and pulmonary care. This role is ideal for a mission-driven physician looking to make a significant impact in a closed ICU environment with robust institutional support.

Practice Info

  • Employed, full-time position based at St. Joseph's Hospital (42 ICU beds) and St. Mary's Hospital (40 ICU beds), Tucson, AZ
  • Practice Model: Closed ICU
  • Team Support: Dedicated RN and administrative support staff
  • Optional opportunity to teach internal medicine residents

Responsibilities

  • Airway management
  • Central and arterial line placement
  • Dialysis catheters
  • Thoracentesis
  • Paracentesis
  • Percutaneous tracheostomy

  • Licensed in Arizona or eligible to obtain Arizona licensure
  • Spanish language skills a plus
