Summary

HII Mission Technologies is seeking Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Analysts near Ft. Gordon, GA! As part of this mission, you'll contribute to highimpact GEOINT exploitation, analysis and reporting of all Advanced GEOINT and Special Access Program (SAP), and related disciplines and products produced by the Army GEOINT Enterprise. Your expertise will help drive critical intelligence insights for Army operations worldwide!

What you will do
  • The Geospatial Analyst shall perform analysis of the full spectrum of US Government and commercial GEOINT assets and maintain expertise in all associated tradecraft, including Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR), Electro-Optical (EO), Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR), Geospatial Information and Services (GI&S), Wide Area Persistent Surveillance (WAPS), geospatial data processing, analysis and modeling, and general intelligence analysis
  • Maintain proficiency with all tools and databases necessary to access supporting intelligence information required for the execution of GEOINT support to the customer
  • Use geographic information systems, methods, and tools to answer critical intelligence questions
  • Perform specialized scientific and technical data processing techniques utilizing non-standard and developmental software suites, to include SAP, CAP, and CNWDI level programs; stage for exploitation; and provide requisite training as required by the Government
  • Adhere to all GEOINT related technical publications, policies, and directives at the National, Theater, and local level
  • Responsible for capturing analytical findings in textual, graphic, vector, or other formats as directed by national and local policy and will ensure that GEOINT reporting adheres to national, theater, and local policies which govern content, accuracy, formatting, classification, and timeliness
  • Maintain familiarity and expertise with all relevant classification guides, security policy, and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs)
  • Remain abreast of geo-political events, topics, atmospherics, and current events as they relate to supported Combatant Commands and respective theaters, to provide informed, insightful, and timely answers to customer intelligence requirements
  • Additional duties as assigned or required 
What we are looking for
  • GEOINT Analyst 4: 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience
  • GEOINT Analyst 5: 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience
  • Experience with Intelligence Community (IC) and DoD geospatial data and repositories
  • Familiarity with Army, DoD, or IC geospatial processes, policy, and programs
  • Demonstrated experience using geospatial Python, R, SAS, Java or other coding languages to deliver custom geoprocessing and analytical workflows
  • Expert knowledge of industry standard location analysis desktop and server applications such as Esri ArcGIS Platform, QGIS, MapBox, GeoServer, etc
  • Experience using and managing spatial relational databases including Oracle, MSSQL, or PostGreSQL/PostGIS
  • Extensive experience with geographically-derived assessments, enterprise data integration, spatial data governance, metadata management and interpretation of business and performance metrics
  • Expert ability to present geospatial information via multimedia presentations and written reports
  • Experience in coordination and collaboration with industry counterparts on technical projects, software and service assessment, and other related subject material
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance

  • GEOINT Analyst 5: Masters in a technical field such as Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related degree AND 10 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelors in a technical field such as Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related degree AND 15 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working within common project management frameworks
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in cartography, GIS, spatial modeling
  • Private sector (e.g., GISP, Esri Professional, etc.) or government (e.g., GPC series) professional GIS certification
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office tools and graphic design principles
  • Familiarity with DoD/NSG Structured Observation Management (SOM) and object- based production
Physical Requirements
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
