Chemours is seeking a Global Competitive Intelligence Leader to join our growing Advanced Performance Materials (APM) team. This hybrid role will be available at the Wilmington DE office and will report directly to the Commercial Excellence & Growth Acceleration Leader.

The Global Competitive Intelligence Leader is a highly visible, key role within the APM Commercial Organization responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating competitive insights into actionable intelligence to directly influence commercial strategy, sales execution, pricing decisions, and growth initiatives. This role is responsible for collaborating with a broad cross-section of the organization to turn complex competitor signals into clear insights to drive profitable business growth.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide insights to inform strategic decisions while anticipating competitor actions/responses.

  • Build and maintain structured competitive intelligence capability through understanding of key intelligence questions relevant to each product line and strategic market segment. Drive execution of processes to coalesce intelligence across the business in an accessible way.

  • Lead competitive analysis including Global Market Supply Demand Analysis, Competitor pricing trends, Environmental Permits, Import/Export data, Competitor press releases and public information bringing forward insights/ recommendations

  • Leverage and integrate competitor insights from customer-facing teams such as Tech Service competitor sample analysis and Technology networks.

  • Maintain SWOTs & lead organization in competitive assessments for prioritized list of competitors on annual basis

  • Participate in Chemours Integrated Business Management Step 1- Product Meetings to provide Competitive Intelligence input to product line strategy execution

  • Support development and publishing of standardized CI communications including, but not limited to, Competitor Profiles, Bi-Weekly Newsletters, and Competitive Landscape Reports.

The following is required for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline

  • 7+ yearschemical industry experience in any function (technical, production, business, etc.)

  • Strong analytical and criticalthinking skills with ability to synthesize complex information into concise insights

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • High motivation and self-awareness

The following is preferred for this role:

  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in product, marketing, and/or sales functions

  • Experience with market research, data analysis, or strategy and familiarity with competitive intelligence relevant tools (e.g., Crayon, Klue, AlphaSense, SFDC)

  • Demonstrated ability to work well in teams and serve as a trusted advisor to commercial leaders
