Job description

Overview

DEPARTMENT: Social Ministries, Anti-Human TraffickingREPORTS TO: Anti-Human Trafficking Crisis Team Coordinator/AHT Program ManagerSUPERVISES: None.STATUS: Non-Exempt. TemporarySCHEDULE: Must be available to be on-call for human trafficking emergencies as scheduled.FUNCTION:This position is responsible for responding to hotline and crisis response requests as a part of a 24 hour emergency on call schedule.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in social service field. Some coursework in social work or a related field preferred. Experience working with victims of human trafficking is preferred. Experience working with victims of other traumatic crimes, such as domestic violence or sexual assault is required. Successfully obtain and maintain driving privileges per The Salvation Army insurance standards, including maintaining access to a personal vehicle and insurance coverage for transportation needs related to this position. Mileage reimbursement will be utilized where appropriate. Willingness to uphold and support The Salvation Army's mission and ministry.
