Job description

Direct Counsel is partnering with a prestigious AmLaw 10 law firm to identify Intellectual Property Litigation Associates. This is an exciting opportunity for attorneys interested in working on complex, high-stakes intellectual property disputes within a rapidly growing and highly respected IP litigation practice.

Associates will work on sophisticated matters involving patents, technology disputes, and other intellectual property litigation, often in federal courts and before the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with all phases of complex intellectual property litigation

  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda

  • Conduct legal research and factual investigations

  • Manage and support discovery and document review

  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on high-profile IP disputes

Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of intellectual property litigation experience

  • Experience handling complex IP litigation matters in federal court or before the ITC
