Position Overview
The Head of Advisor Field Management is a senior leadership role responsible for driving organic growth and advisor retention across the existing platform. This leader will oversee field engagement, practice development, and delivery of value-add services that increase advisor productivity and deepen platform adoption.
This is a highly visible, field-facing role focused on building strong advisor relationships while scaling a disciplined, data-driven field management program.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead advisor engagement strategy to drive organic growth and retention across the platform
  • Build and scale a field management organization supporting enterprise, growth, and emerging advisors
  • Deliver structured value-add services, including practice consulting, succession planning, cross-sell strategies, and technology adoption
  • Partner with executive leadership across recruiting, technology, and solutions teams to enhance advisor experience and platform adoption
  • Establish disciplined engagement cadence, including business reviews, practice planning, and performance monitoring
  • Drive key initiatives including fee-based conversion, cross-sell expansion, and advisor productivity improvements
  • Develop feedback mechanisms (e.g., advisor surveys) to inform continuous improvement and retention strategy

Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in advisor-facing leadership (field management, practice development, or relationship management) within a broker-dealer, RIA, or wealth platform
  • Proven track record driving measurable growth and advisor retention in large-scale advisory businesses
  • Deep understanding of independent advisor economics, including fee-based and commission models
  • Experience building and leading high-performing field management teams
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior advisors and stakeholders
  • Required licenses: Series 7, 24, and 66 (or equivalent)
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Willingness to travel extensively
