Healing Arts Social Work Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Master Social Worker to join our dynamic team. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a focus on providing high-quality support to students. As a Licensed Master Social Worker in a school setting, you will leverage technology to conduct assessments, provide counseling, and connect with families, ensuring that access to services is uninterrupted and convenient.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' psychosocial needs, fostering an in-depth understanding of their emotional, social, and academic challenges.
• Collaborate with students, parents, and educators to create individualized care plans that align with each student’s specific goals and circumstances.
• Provide counseling sessions that guide students through difficulties such as bullying, family issues, academic stress, and other life changes.
• Act as an advocate for students, facilitating access to necessary resources and support systems that promote their educational and emotional well-being.
• Monitor students’ progress through regular check-ins, adjusting care plans and strategies as necessary to ensure effective support.
• Facilitate group sessions or workshops focused on developing life skills, coping strategies, and resilience among students.
• Document all interactions, assessments, and progress notes accurately, maintaining compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.
• Engage with educational professionals to coordinate services and integrate mental health care into the overall educational framework.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to remain informed about best practices in social work and mental health.

This role will primarily focus on students from diverse backgrounds, typically ranging from kindergarten to high school age. Many students face challenges related to socio-economic factors, mental health issues, and behavioral concerns that necessitate thoughtful and skilled intervention. As a Social Worker, you will play a key role in helping to identify and address these issues, fostering an environment where students can engage fully in their education.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
• At least two years of experience in a social work capacity, preferably within educational or community settings.
• Solid understanding of child development, mental health issues, and the unique challenges faced by students today.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills, enabling you to connect effectively with students, families, and school staff.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools to enhance service delivery.

• Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents, particularly those experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges.
• Familiarity with educational policies and resources available to support students’ mental health and well-being.
• Previous experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams within a school or community setting.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
