Test Line Operator - Pump Integrations
Job Description
Department: Manufacturing
Job Status: Full-Time
FLSA Status: Salary, Non-Exempt
Reports To: Test Line Manager - Pump Integration
Location: Ponca City, OK
Amount of Travel Required: up to 15%
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Positions Supervised: None
POSITION SUMMARY: The Pump Integration Test Line Operator supports basic test line activities including equipment setup, monitoring test operations, gathering data, and assisting technicians with pump testing and verification. This role focuses on learning fundamental testing practices, safety procedures, and pump system basics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may")
  • Assist with setting up pumps, hoses, gauges, and basic test equipment.
  • Operate test stand equipment under the direction of technicians or leads.
  • Monitor pressure, flow, temperature, and vibration readings and report abnormalities.
  • Record data and maintain accurate test logs.
  • Perform basic visual inspections for leaks, loose hardware, and equipment cleanliness.
  • Follow all safety procedures for rotating equipment and test line operations.
  • Keep work area clean and organized and support general test line tasks.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s) including pre employment Pulmonary Function Test (PFT).
  • Daily overtime required and in person, predictable attendance in Ponca City, OK.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
  • U.S. High school diploma or GED required. College and/or technical education preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude; experience in manufacturing preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to learn pump terminology and test procedures.
  • Basic computer and documentation skills.
  • Excellent speaking, writing, and listening skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced and high demand environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP systems in Discrete Manufacturing; preferably with Made2Manage ERP, preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), with emphasis on Excel as it is used heavily for data analysis and reporting.
  • Must be able to work under timeline constraints.
  • Possess the ability to effectively communicate and convey information and collaborate with teammates.

Daily required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel and requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs. Work environment may include exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB and inclement weather, including typical and atypical outdoor elements and extreme cold and hot weather temperatures. Given these conditions employees may be required to wear company mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies.
Work hours may include or includes early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
