Role Overview

The Integration Manager / Enterprise Systems Lead is responsible for leading the strategy, architecture, and delivery of all enterprise system integrations across the organization. This role oversees integration initiatives spanning 3PL providers, carriers, ERP systems, and internal platforms, ensuring seamless data flow across the technology ecosystem.

This is a leadership role requiring both technical depth and strategic vision, with responsibility for managing integration specialists, setting technical standards, and aligning integration capabilities with business objectives. The role balances hands-on technical guidance with program management and stakeholder engagement at the leadership level.


Key Responsibilities

Integration Strategy & Architecture

  • Define and maintain the enterprise integration architecture and strategic roadmap
  • Evaluate and select middleware/iPaaS platforms and integration technologies
  • Establish integration patterns, standards, and best practices across the organization
  • Lead platform migration initiatives (e.g., Celigo to Boomi or other enterprise solutions)
  • Design scalable, secure integration frameworks that support business growth

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage and mentor a team of integration specialists and developers
  • Allocate resources across integration projects and priorities
  • Conduct performance reviews, skills development, and career planning
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
  • Build team capability in emerging integration technologies

Enterprise System Ownership

  • Oversee integrations across ERP, WMS, OMS, CRM, and analytics platforms
  • Ensure system interoperability and data consistency across the enterprise
  • Lead major system implementation and upgrade projects
  • Partner with enterprise application owners to optimize system capabilities
  • Drive data governance and master data management initiatives

3PL & Partner Integration Program

  • Lead the 3PL integration program, including carrier and logistics provider partnerships
  • Oversee EDI infrastructure and trading partner onboarding processes
  • Establish SLAs and performance metrics for partner integrations
  • Drive vendor management and contract negotiations for integration services
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and partner requirements

Operations & Service Delivery

  • Ensure 24/7 reliability and monitoring of critical integration flows
  • Establish incident management and escalation procedures
  • Oversee integration support model and ticket resolution processes
  • Drive performance optimization and capacity planning

Stakeholder Management & Governance

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and IT leadership
  • Translate business requirements into technical integration solutions
  • Lead steering committees and project governance forums
  • Manage integration budgets and vendor relationships
  • Communicate integration roadmap and status to executive stakeholders

Data & Analytics Enablement

  • Oversee data ingestion into data lakes and analytics platforms
  • Ensure data quality, auditability, and compliance across integration pipelines
  • Support business intelligence and reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams
  • Implement data observability and quality frameworks


Required Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise systems integration and architecture
  • 3+ years in a leadership or management role
  • Deep expertise in middleware/iPaaS platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, Celigo, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of ERP, WMS, OMS systems and their integration patterns
  • Proven experience with EDI, API management, and event-driven architectures
  • Experience managing 3PL, carrier, or supply chain technology integrations
  • Strong program management and project delivery track record
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience leading platform migrations or major integration transformations
  • Background in supply chain, logistics, or distribution operations
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud-native integration
