Job description

Role Summary:
The Project Manager leads technology and low voltage projects-including Structured Cabling, IT Infrastructure, and DAS systems-ensuring safety compliance, subcontractor coordination, bid review, change management, and successful project execution. As a subject matter expert, this role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills to guide teams and deliver integrated solutions that align with AMSYS Innovative Solutions' values and vision.

Key Responsibilities - Summary
  • Promote and uphold AMSYS's safety culture and OSHA compliance through mentorship and example.
  • Manage end-to-end technology design and construction efforts, ensuring quality, scope, and compliance standards are met.
  • Oversee RFP processes, subcontractor and supplier selection, contract negotiations, and scope validation in collaboration with the Pre-Construction team.
  • Direct change order reviews, bid pricing, and budget tracking alongside project engineers and partners.
  • Lead subcontractor/supplier coordination including schedules, communication, and reporting.
  • Provide technical expertise in design assist, system integration, and installation.
  • Collaborate with project teams to define technology scopes and responsibility matrices tailored to each project.
  • Develop and manage project schedules with General Contractors, tracking milestones and reporting progress.
  • Ensure proper documentation and closeout of projects while supporting continuous improvement through feedback and team collaboration.
  • Lead, coach, and support project teams to meet financial, quality, and performance goals. • Manage technology consulting efforts between AMSYS, clients, and project stakeholders.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies that support Smart Building initiatives; collaborate with Sales to apply emerging solutions to client needs.
  • Engage with civic organizations and unions to support local involvement and project success.
  • Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge through professional development, networking, and participation in relevant associations.
  • Contribute to team growth by assisting in recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
