Job Summary:
Accenture Federal Services is dedicated to helping the US federal government enhance national security and improve the lives of citizens. The Product Owner / Product Manager will lead the acceleration of operational AI adoption within defense modernization initiatives, ensuring user-centric design and effective collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Lead Agile product management activities in alignment with the Agile Manifesto, ensuring rapid and iterative delivery of mission capabilities
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps that accelerate operational AI adoption within a modern Hub-and-Spoke architecture
• Drive user adoption planning and ensure solutions are designed with a user-centric approach
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including AI, DevSecOps, data engineering, platform engineering, and cybersecurity, to deliver integrated enterprise software solutions
• Prioritize mission needs and capabilities, balancing stakeholder input with strategic objectives
• Decompose high-level requirements into actionable stories, tasks, and epics for development teams
• Oversee the integration of AI platforms, agentic AI systems, and enterprise AI governance into operational workflows
• Support continuous monitoring and scalable software delivery for defense modernization initiatives
• Align operational delivery with roadmap objectives, ensuring timely and effective deployment of mission applications
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure clear communication across all project stakeholders
• Success in this role will also be supported by your ability to manage cross-functional coordination, prioritize mission objectives, and facilitate the adoption of innovative AI-driven solutions within complex operational workflows.
• Your day-to-day work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize capabilities, decompose requirements, and break down complex stories and tasks into actionable epics
• You will ensure that user-centric design principles are embedded throughout the development process, aligning operational delivery with evolving mission needs.
• You will be responsible for shaping and executing a product roadmap that leverages a modern Hub-and-Spoke architecture, supporting mission-critical applications, enterprise AI governance, agentic AI systems, and scalable software delivery
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience with Agile product management
• Experience with tools and processes such as any of the following: continuous monitoring, observability platforms, and user adoption planning will help you coordinate effectively across teams and stakeholders
• US Citizen
• An active TS/SCI is required
Preferred:
• Familiarity with enterprise software delivery, AI platforms, and the integration of DevSecOps, data engineering, platform engineering, and cybersecurity will be highly beneficial
