Position Overview

The Sr. Integration Manager leads the planning, execution, management, and maintenance of complex EHR and system integration projects. This role requires deep understanding of healthcare workflows, data standards, and EHR technologies. This position will ensure seamless integration of systems, improve data exchange, and ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives. The Sr. Integration Manager role involves strategic planning, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to drive successful integration outcomes.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead the planning and execution of complex EHR and system integration projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrate mastery of established project management practices (management of scope, schedule, requirements, issues, and risks). Share best practices with others and find opportunities for process improvement.
  • Present reports for highly complex projects on integration progress, performance, and KPIs to stakeholders, translating technical concepts for cross-functional audiences.
  • Proactively establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including at the executive level), ensuring alignment and support for integration initiatives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, integration tools, and industry best practices to enhance the organization's integration capabilities and support future growth and scalability needs.
  • Apply a strong understanding of business strategy and performance to evaluate recommendations for technical processes and concepts.
  • Understand how leveraged applications provide a competitive advantage. Craft solutions and recommendations to accelerate that advantage.
  • Develop and implement strategies and solutions for system interoperability and data exchange between EHR platforms that align with the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
  • Provide advanced technical guidance on integration standards and practices for product development teams.
  • Conceptualize, document, and present creative integration solutions to senior management.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
  • Ability and means to travel 25% between Exact Science locations.
  • Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of bachelor's degree.
  • 5 years of experience in EHR integration, healthcare IT management, or IT project management.
  • Possession of or ability to reactivate lapsed Epic Bridges certification within 2 months of hire and maintenance of Epic Bridges certification throughout employment in position.
  • Expert knowledge of integration solutions (e.g., point-to-point, API), EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and integration standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to influence and persuade relevant audiences.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Competence with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and HITECH.
  • Proficient computer skills to include internet navigation and email usage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMI Project Management Certification.

Salary Range:

$91,000.00 - $155,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible.
