THE WORK
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Software Engineer with a strong background cyber capability development and integration.
In this role, you will be an integrated member of an Agile Cyber Product Team, supporting multiple programs within the REAS organization.
Responsibilities will include the full scope of the systems engineering process with a focus in cyber capability development and integration.
Tasking will include requirements development and analysis, capability design documentation, product selection, development, integration, regression testing, and delivery of cyber capability solutions for Linux based tactical systems.
Please note:
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government DoD clearance at the Secret level.
The ability to travel up to 10%.
This position is located in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey - a major engineering and technology hub for Lockheed Martin. Mt. Laurel campus is home to some of our most advanced radar and naval combat system programs, offering a collaborative and technically engaging environment.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field from an accredited college with 5+ years related professional experience
• DoD 8570 approved baseline certification for IAT Level II (IE CompTIA Security+, GSEC SSCP, CCNA-Security) or ability to achieve certification within 6 months.
• Strong understanding of Linux command line and Linux troubleshooting.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages, such as Ansible, Python, or PowerShell
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (US citizenship is required).
• The ability to travel up to 10%.
Desired Skills
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Experience with agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, or Python
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software systems
• Experience with cybersecurity principles and systems engineering
