The Systems Workday Integrations Engineer, IT, Support Center plays a critical role in designing, developing, configuring, testing, supporting, and optimizing integrations and APIs across cloud-based, on-premises, SaaS, off-the-shelf, and custom applications. The Systems Workday Integrations Engineer serves as a technical expert in Human Capital Management (HCM) systems and their integrations, providing advanced user support and resolving complex technical issues. As a subject matter expert, the engineer collaborates with internal IT teams, end users, management, and third-party vendors to identify integration opportunities and define scalable, automated solutions. The Systems Workday Integrations Engineer also contributes strategic insights to enhance system interoperability and streamline repeatable tasks. This Systems Workday Integrations Engineer drives organizational change by championing the adoption of new technologies and processes that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
***This is a remote position that can be home-based anywhere within the United States. Please note, must have experience with Workday Studio.***

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Contributes to and develops complex, cross-functional integration projects by providing technical expertise, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring all integrations adhere to established security and data privacy guidelines. 40%

  • Monitors integration logs, troubleshoots system notifications and error messages, and ensures timely resolution by collaborating with cross-functional IT teams. 25%

  • Creates and maintains clear, detailed documentation of technical systems, processes, procedures, and integration workflows. 10%

  • Collaborates with the Service Desk and other departments to resolve issues within defined service level agreements (SLAs). 25%


EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree

  • Preferred Degree: Master's Degree

  • Certificate(s) or License(s): Workday Studio, EIB required, Boomi and NetSuite administrator preferred.

  • Years of experience: 5-7 years in integration and HR systems work. Workday preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience managing and supporting large-scale enterprise systems, with a focus on platforms such as Workday and NetSuite.

  • Direct involvement in at least one full-cycle enterprise implementation of Workday or NetSuite, including responsibility for designing and building integrations beyond routine production support.

  • Proven expertise in designing, developing, and orchestrating administrative playbooks, with a deep understanding of data table relationships and complex systems integrations.

  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts and provide clear guidance and training to non-technical users regarding the design and use of enterprise applications and business processes.

  • Extensive knowledge of organizational business processes, business solutions, and system functionalities, with specialized experience in HCM and financial systems and their integrations.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Occasional travel- 10-15% - may be required for department or program/project meetings, vendor management, or enterprise workshops.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequent sitting and use of computer equipment

  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting materials up to 10 lbs.

  • Availability and ability to work after hours, weekends, holidays, etc. as needed, to be on call and/or to fulfill job responsibilities and requirements.

The starting rate is $91,000 to $101,000 annual. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
