The Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy is a non-profit ministry that is dedicated to “Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ”. We are a middle and senior high school committed to high academic standards. Our biblically-integrated, college-preparatory curriculum is delivered by a dedicated staff of Christian professionals. We are committed to teaching from a biblical worldview and philosophy. We are committed to providing our students with experiences that will foster in them a servant’s heart, including extra-curricular activities, interscholastic athletics, music, theater, short-term mission trips, and numerous service opportunities. Job Summary

This position has responsibility for supporting CVCA’s athletic programs in accordance with the OHSAA and our athletic mission to Build Christ-like Character as Ambassadors for Christ through Competitive Excellence.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Train, disciple, and encourage student-athletes to perform athletically to the maximum of his or her potential to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ
  • Communicate the mission of the program
  • Integrate the program into the school community
  • Supervise practice and manage games
  • Support student-athlete success in all areas of the student experience
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Previous Experience Coaching or Playing


Working Conditions / Physical Demands
