Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Integration Architect to define the vision, strategy, and implementation of data integration standards across enterprise systems, contributing directly to the overall data management roadmap. The role involves collaborating with IT leaders and Epic teams to establish data governance, advocate for interoperability, and design solutions that transform data into business value.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, oversee, and manage overall data exchange, transformation, and loading (ETL) solutions.
  • Manage the complete systems development lifecycle (SDLC), assisting with project planning, resource allocation, estimations, and stakeholder communication.
  • Collaborate with business owners and enterprise architects to align requirements with healthcare regulations.
  • Coach, train, and develop the internal technical team regularly.
  • Travel up to 15% and provide support during occasional night/weekend work as needed for deployments or critical support.

Qualifications
  • Epic-certified Data Integration Architect, highly preferred with Bridges Interfaces Certification.
  • 8-10 years of relevant healthcare data integration experience within the Epic ecosystem.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with interoperability and clinical terminology standards (HL7, FHIR, and file transfers).
  • Strong proficiency in interface engine tools such as Mirth or InterSystems Health Connect and scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, and ObjectScript.
